SANGANAI/HLANGANANI – WORLD TOURISM EXPO THE VIRTUAL EXHIBITION SYSTEM

Preparations for hosting the 14th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani – World Travel Expo are now at an advanced stage. The virtual exhibition will run from 27 – 29 October 2021. The exhibitor and buyer registration is now open and the matchmaking diary will open on the 15th October 2021. To date, over 100 exhibitors and over 60 buyers have already registered on the virtual system.

Sanganai/Hlanganani- World Tourism Expo is a signature platform for tourism players which continues to provide stakeholders with a business networking platform to engage international and regional source markets. This year’s edition of the expo will be hosted virtually over 3 days allowing industry professionals and international travel buyers to interact on this platform without the need to worry about physical barriers.

The virtual platform which was developed in-house has since been enhanced to include an ‘on-demand meeting requests platform, Live HD video conferencing, Virtual auditorium for interactive and topical webinar sessions and 3D virtual exhibitor booths.

It was prudent to enhance features of the platform so as to remain competitive and to keep abreast with international virtual platforms and standards. The platform has become more user friendly, participants can now schedule meetings using their respective time zones.

The platform provides participants with the flexibility to log onto the meeting site from anywhere in the world.

Participants can easily keep track of meetings they have conducted for they can record meetings for easier reference. They can also access information of visitors to their virtual booths/stands

Fundamentally, participants can pre-book meetings on the platform at convenient times for both attendees.
