Madzibaba Tyregy Chigadzira, a Chiredzi based prophet of Johanne Masowe eChishanu left a mark for to reckon when held a successful Clean-up campaign in the small town.
The clean up campaign was graced by the presence of the local authorities and Environmental Management Agency(EMA)officials.
Baba Tyregy Chigadzira’ s congregants flocked the Chiredzi town in their white robes as they go about with the clean up Programme.
“Today as Vapositori we partnered Chiredzi City Council and Environmental Management Agency(EMA) to carry on with what our President started.”
According to Madzibaba Tyregy Chigadzira, environment is everyone’s responsibility and this calls for people to awalys keep the environment clean. Vapositori have taken the lead in preserving the environment where they belong.
“The times are changing, people used to think Vapositori are backward but as you can see we are now setting the example in our society. Environment is everyone’s responsibility and needs us to preserve it. They say cleanliness is close to God and today we are setting the tone, ”
An official from Chiredzi City Council implored Prophet Chigadzira’s congregants for taking part in the National Cleanup, saying they have set an example for other church organization.
“As the local authority we are really grateful for the participation of Johane Masowe eChishanu in taking part during our clean up day. You are now an example for other churches in reminding them of the need to keep our environment safe and clean.”
