France Win The Nations league!

0

France have been crowned Nations League Champions after edging Spain who had taken the lead through Oyarzabal’s strike. The lead only lasted a few seconds before Benzema curled in the equalizer. It was then left to the razor-sharp Mbappe to score the late winner for the French.

Karim Benzema: “It is a very important title for me, to come back after a long time with this team and win a title, makes me very happy. It gives me more ambition for the future with France because we have a very, very good team.”

The Nations League is the 8th trophy France have won after the Euros of 1984 and 2000, the World Cup in 1998 and 2018, the Confederations Cup in 2001 and 2003 as well as the 1985 Artemio Franchi Trophy
