FASTJET LAUNCHES VICTORIA FALLS/MAUN ROUTE

Great day for tourism as FastJet launched inaugural flight from Victoria Falls to Maun in Botswana this afternoon.

The new service route will operate four times a week on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The new flight arrangement will provide the much-needed scheduled connectivity between Victoria Falls and Maun allowing visitors the ease of travel when exploring the region’s top attractions.

Fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana said the company was elated by the launch of the new route, “We are thrilled to launch a scheduled service to Maun in Botswana from our ever-growing Victoria Falls tourism hub,” he said.

ZTA Chief Executive Ms Winnie Muchanyuka congratulated FastJet for the launch. “We’re delighted to see this development as the ZTA. It’s such a welcome initiative because it is one more point that visitors into the Kaza Region will get to appreciate. It offers us as region a platform to be able to collaborate and enhance our product,” she said.
