Caribbean Vibrations Festival Set to Ignite Toronto’s Harbourfront with Island Culture and Rhythm

Toronto, ON – Caribbean culture is set to take centre stage in the heart of Toronto as the Caribbean Vibrations Festival launches its inaugural edition this weekend, July 12–13, at the vibrant Harbourfront Centre. Organized by Caribbean Vibrations TV, Canada’s longest-running Caribbean television series, this free two-day event will celebrate Caribbean unity through music, cuisine, art, and community engagement.

“This festival has been years in the making,” said Alain P. Arthur, Executive Producer of Caribbean Vibrations TV. “We’re proud to bring together the sounds, flavours, and stories of the Caribbean under one roof to celebrate our shared identity and community spirit.”

A Star-Studded Cultural Showcase

The festival features a diverse lineup of high-profile performers, including:

  • David Rudder, calypso icon from Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Ammoye, a seven-time JUNO Award nominee fusing reggae, soul, and dancehall.
  • Dwayne Morgan, renowned spoken word artist and Order of Ontario recipient.
  • Tynomi Banks, international drag superstar of Jamaican heritage.
  • Moses Revolution, an electrifying collective blending island rhythms.

Some of Canada’s most celebrated Caribbean DJs will also be on hand, including Dr. JAY de Soca Prince, SPEX DA BOSS, DJ Soca Sweetness, DJ Steph Honey, DJ Carl Allen, DJ Wukup Productions, and DJ DXS. Hosting the festivities are dynamic MCs SKF, Lil Red, and Kevin Carrington, known as “The Voice.”

The Caribbean Vibrations Festival is more than just performances it’s a cultural journey. Highlights include:
