Africa: Nearly 103 Million Covid-19 Vaccinations Administered Across Continent

Cape Town — As of October 18, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached   8,430,779 while over 102,872,162 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  215,502 and  7,770,468 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases   2,916,593 and 88,612 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  942,132 ), Tunisia (   710,906 ), Ethiopia (  359,247 ), Libya ( 349,990 ), Egypt (  318,456 ) and Kenya (  252,033 ).
